It is understood that in biological 3D printing technology, researchers often use inkjet printing technology, which can quickly and accurately print small ink drops to the corresponding position. 

The working principle of the inkjet printer is: there is a heating element in the nozzle, which quickly heats the water in the ink cartridge to 200 degrees Celsius, and the water can eject ink droplets during the process of vaporization. Researchers fill the cell suspension into a special ink cartridge to successfully achieve cell printing. 

And the printing process only takes about 20 microseconds. Before the heat can be transferred to the ink droplets, the ink droplets have already been ejected, so the high temperature will not kill the cells.

In addition, inkjet printers can also print different cells. For example, to print a structure similar to a blood vessel, you can print endothelial cells on the inner layer of the tube wall and smooth muscle cells on the outer layer of the tube wall. In this way, printing layer by layer, you can get a product similar to the normal structure.
